One more top episode, and not because of Robert Blake.

Warning: Spoilers
One more top episode for top performances, especially Burt Young for the second time in the series. Remember the first one, where he was a simple minded guy, old friend of our lead street cop. Here, he is even more outstanding in a hit man role, a mafia ruthless killer and so touching person in the same time, one more time a Baretta's old pal. Every scene here with both of them is worth watching. So it's quite different from the previous episode with Blake and Young, but maybe even better. I suppose you already have understood that Burt Young is the soldier in the jungle mentioned in the title. I would say that he steals the show, he literally hides every one else in this story. Don't miss the slow motion sequence with Burt Young and his ex girl friend. So moving.

I say again that Young is far better than he was in his other performances for the big screen. Poignant, gripping story, the best ever ending of the whole show, where, for once, every one is not laughing, as usual, even after the worst events when one of the leads is dead.
