Jethro at his finest !!!
tazzman62-219 July 2006
This episode is jethro at his finest and is filled with one surprise after another Jane Hathaway Granny and Jethro had me in stitches from the opening to the last laugh. The plot is hilarious as Jethro and granny go at odds and Miss Jane surprisingly makes a decision you wouldn't expect.Jethro is mixed up in a love triangle with miss Jane and a bank secretary and just when you think you know how things will go Jethro throws a wrench in granny's plans and forces granny into her Kitchen Pharmacy to find a cure Super Charm X-4! Even Jed gets into the action and tells Jethro and Elly May to bury X-4 but "Stomp hard on the ground first so the Gophers can escape first" WATCH THIS EPISODE You will love it !!!

MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE ENTIRE SERIES
Sinemah_Freek6 April 2019
"The Clampetts Fiddle Around" is my all-time favorite episode, and is in my mind, definitively, the crown of the entire series. Jethro (Max Baer) is in absolute tip-top form, and Hans Conreid (as Maestro Stromboli) rocks to the max !!! Also, this episode, IMHO, comes the closest to the name and premise of the entire series - namely, the Hillbillies are not able to understand "normal" Beverly Hills culture - (music, in this case) as they are merely "from another world", musically, and otherwise.
