This episode includes a rare (uncredited) television appearance by the singer Nicolette Larson (July 17, 1952 - December 16, 1997) who was an American pop singer. She was best known for her work in the late 1970s with Neil Young, as well as her 1978 cover of Young's "Lotta Love." She appears as the shorter of of the two female back-up singers for Big Buck Buckley's group.
When Buck stops Jaime from calling Washington and then has her call Tammy, the music cue includes the "Fembot" motif--the first time it is heard in the series prior to the "Kill Oscar" trilogy.
Buck's country-music-loving soul-mate Tammy is an obvious reference to the then-currently-popular "First Lady of Country Music", and her features and appearance/accent are even similar to Ms. Wynette's. Bonus fact: Also just like in Miss Placid-Faced Blonde Bombshell's most famous song of all, Tammy faithfully "stands by her man", even when it appears that he's going to face serious legal problems.
French title: Mission à Nashville.
