If you already saw it, it's OK to read, it's about Angela...
irc_load-124 March 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I just think it's very wrong Angela didn't come back to Shawn :( I love this show, as a matter of fact it's my favorite show ever since I have recollection, I've been platonically in love with Topanga for so long I can't remember how long. I've lived in Mexico my whole life, and never had the chance to watch the entire show, I watched it only until forth season, in Spanish, which is the language I speak, of course I'd rather watch it in the original language; I didn't know they got married and all... well, I have the whole show now and have watched it, and I think it's flawless but for this tiny detail, that's Shawn staying alone, and I mean without Angela; we know he goes with Cory and Topanga to New York but, didn't he deserve better? I mean, after all they went through to stay together... do we all have to suppose they got back together after a year of being apart from each other? If there was a 9.9 I'd give it, but, although it's kinda late, I have to say I didn't like that only part. I didn't actually know Angela, because from fifth season, we who didn't have access to cable TV didn't get to see it, but having watched it now, you just gotta love her. I just didn't like that. In the words of Morpheus: "It's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad". Thank you, Ben, Danielle, Rider, Will, William, William and Betsy for the best show ever, you are an important part of my life, even though I've never met you, much of me is what I've learned from you. Your Mexican #1 fan. Gracias.

The Last Episodes Pt.2 *SPOILERS*
AndrewRegal10 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I don't think most shows in history can ever amount to the ending of this wonderful TV show.

The episode starts off with a playback of the previous episode. Eric and his dad are recapping the moments they've had together. They have scenes from previous episodes and such. Followed by the same process with his mom. Afterwards, the scene switches to Jack and Shawn as they have a brotherly moment with their spiritual father. Afterwards, Jack decides to give up his step-father's money to go to the peace corp. with Rachel. After, the camera show's Corey talking to his little brother, teaching him about the world around him, as he finally realizes why it's called "Boy Meets World". The group gather up as they say goodbye to their parents, following with flashbacks of Morgan, Corey's Dad, and Corey's Mom.

The group finally makes a final stand in Mr. Feeny's classroom as they walk in to find him reminiscing on his memories. Mr. Feeny tells them to not to "Do Well" but "Do Good". Eric badgers Mr.Feeny to tell them he loves them. Mr. Feeny, not admitting his true feelings, ignores their request. Afterwards, the group make their final speeches. First Topanga, then Shawn, then Eric, and finally Corey. Mr. Feeny reveals that Corey's real name is Cornelius. As Corey exits the room, Mr. Feeny says the final words of the episode: "I love you all, (pause) Class Dismissed.

Great Episode

Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode because it was a great way to cap off the series. When I watch the scene with the Hunter men I always wonder how many people know about Shawn's ability to see Chet because the whole time Chet is talking and especially when Chet yells about Jack's decision to give up his money if you watch Shawn carefully you can see he's reacting to what Chet is saying and doing. Like the fact that during that whole interaction Shawn is barely suppressing a smile and he is trying really hard not to laugh. We do find out in Girl Meets World that Angela knee about Shawn's connection with Chet but we never find out if anyone else knows. Personally I think it's unfair that Jack doesn't get this even if it makes sense since he never actually knew Chet and Shawn probably needed it more. My favorite scene was the end scene in the class with Feeny especially Shawn's moment. Shawn: (Tearfully) "You never gave up on me. Never once. I'm never gonna forget you. You're the best person I know." The hug Shawn gives Feeny here is so heartfelt I almost cry every time.

best show ever

Warning: Spoilers
I think few compare to "Boy meets World". It is by far my favorite show of all time. I'm sad that Shawn stayed alone but it started with Cory, Shawn, and Topanga and thats how it ends. Its been awhile since I've seen the show but I remember how I grew up watching them grow up. Feeny always showed them the way and was with them till the end as well. I really like how they kept around through the college years. The introduction of Matthew Lawrence as Shawns brother Jack added something to the show and helped Eric's character from fizzling out and giving Shawn something personal to deal with while Cory and Topanga's relationship flourished. They all had their ups and downs but the ending was as it should be. And the ending included flashbacks of some of our favorite moments through the years making it sad to see it over. If only there had been a Boy Meets World reunion..... but who knows there is still time for that.

Did we watch the same episode?

Warning: Spoilers
No idea how this is soo highly rated.

It's a bloody clip show.

It's only 20 minutes long but the first 5 minutes are all clips from old episodes. I'd say barely half the episode is actually new material.

Between this and the first part of this episode you're probably looking at 15 mintues of new material and 25 minutes of old clips.

We deserved a better finale than that.

Sure it was nice to see the characters moving on from uni. But where was the graduations? And why did the write Angela out an episode before? Eric wouldn't have gone to New York, would have been nice to have him go his own way.

And they're only moving 70 miles away. Such a big song an dance for a one hour drive.

Shame the show ended like this, they could have given us a really great ending but we got this.

Final Clipshow
imdb-767-41745011 May 2024
"Boy Meets World" was celebrated for its endearing characters and ability to tackle important issues with humour. However, the mixed reception of Season 7 finale raises various opinions on its conclusion in my heart. This dumb clip-show was no fitting end. Nothing against a Clip-Show if it helps to wrap up the characters.

The dumbing down of Eric was initially embarrassing, but later became humorous. Cory's transformation into a whipped neurotic was sad. 'Jonathan Turner' was simply dropped, as was 'Minkus', likely due to the 90s not being ready to portray nerds as later seen in TBBT. And don't even get me started on the cringeworthy handling of Cory's sister and the new baby

Caution: Avoid seeking background information about the show, as it may lead to disappointment, particularly concerning the treatment and nicknaming of Trina McGee-Davis, along with subsequent concerning behaviours of some cast members.

Despite this, "Boy Meets World" remains a nostalgic and beloved series with a special place in my heart.
