A super model collapses on the runway during a high-profile show of a famous designer's new swimwear. There is blood on her back. Once inside the medical examiner's table, it's discovered she had a blunt-force injury to the back of the head. It looks like it could have come from one of the paint cans in the dressing room. The paint is part of the designer's trademark. However, the ME says the reason the girl died was not from that, but from heart problems. Mac and Danny and investigate. This gets a bit complicated.....too complicated.
The second story begins dramatically when a man comes into the police station, asks for Det. Flack, then throws a gun down on his desk and confesses to a murder. Stella and Lyndsay are on the scene, and while checking out the murdered girl - a doctor - discover, to their horror, leeches all over the girl's chest! It turns out the doctor is a quack, among other things. This is a bizarre tale and better than the main story.
Overall, however, I would label this show only "fair." It was just a little too dry. I set the standards high on this show and this episode had my mind wandering a few times.
