I guess even those who don't already like Charisma Carpenter will find it hard not to love this Seer. She's the most entertaining demon ever, and in the space of a few hours she's friends with everybody in the house. AND she manages to solve Leo's problem, at least with Piper and Phoebe. I really think that killing her is a terrible mistake. Why does the script repeatedly get rid of ALL the interesting, conflicted characters ? We would have been interested in seeing her become human ; it would even have been nice to give the sisters a few extra friends, now that even Darryl is in the grey area.
But this episode still manages to hold my interest, mainly because, once again, it blurs sides. Could Utopia be the real thing, and might Leo have been right after all ? Could Brody be the real danger, dragging Paige away from her family ? How can a demon be the nicest "person" around, while a decent human being gets obsessed to the point of hurting an innocent woman ? I haven't watched the next episodes yet, but this looks promising, although it might still become a repetition of season 4.
