John Laurie features quite prominently in the studio scenes but is missing from the location shots. He appears in close up shots with, Clive Dunn, Ian Lavender and Bill Pertwee in the closing scene despite not being in the long shots.
The song Frazer sings while he pours the tea is known variously as "The Border Trail" and "The Far Northland Song". Frazer does not sing the correct lyrics.
