- Bobby and Cliff and the rest of the Ewings desperately search for Pam, fearful that the mystery figure may be involved in her disappearance. Bobby and Cliff make an odd pair as they scour Texas to unravel the mystery surrounding Pam.
- Pam is not dead, just gone. A nurse Ellen showed up to take her to hydrotherapy at 0630 and she never brought her back. JR gets a revisit from Serena, who is a madam who has been put out of business due to the AIDS scare. She tells JR she is thinking a/b marrying Walter Hicks, who is in the hardware end of the oil business. He owns WH Tools and has 20 million dollars worth of inventory that he cannot sell due to all the cutbacks in drilling. The 5 million dollar balloon debt is due in 2 days, and JR says he will help. He owns Sue Ellen and Nicholas are in LA visiting a lingerie business called Secret Hours. Nicholas wants to buy out Secret Hours, use Valentine's product, Secret Hours' coast to coast distribution methods, and to use Sue Ellen as Valentine Lingerie's "gimmick". Nicholas also reveals that his company gets 15% of all deals consummated, 5% goes to the company and Nicholas gets the other 10%. Casey returns to JR w/ his news of procuring BB & B Oil for 12.5 million, which was quoted to JR for 24 million. Bobby and Cliff hire a P.I., Tom Marta, to find Pam. Bobby gets a phone call from Nurse Ellen Johnson. She agreed to meet w/ Bobby at the ice skating rink if he promised to let her go afterward. Her story is that Pam gave her a note to make a phone call. She remembers the phone number had a Houston area code and that she talked to a man. Then a phone call came to her home. This time a woman told her that Pam wanted to leave the hospital and that they would give her 10 thousand dollars to help. Bobby used the ambulance to lead him to a private airstrip that flew a patient, a man, and a woman out earlier that morning. Their flight plan was filed to go to Houston, but it never arrived. The plane was owned by Wentworth Industries. Parker Ellison comes to South Fork. He is the chairman for Wentworth Industries. He says Katherine is not behind the kidnapping, and that everything was done exactly how Pam wanted. She has him deliver a letter to Bobby saying she never wants Bobby or Christopher to ever see the damage to her face, and begs him to never try and find her.
