A lot of drama in this standalone episode. We are introduced to a new character, Sara's father, who has come to the Cleave Mills nursing home. Coincidentally enough, Bruce also works there! Wow, think of the odds. That guy must never sleep! From working at the hospital, having private clients, and also working in the old folks home, something best friend Johnny was unaware of, one must wonder how Bruce has enough time to play Robin to the wealthy yet unemployed Batman.
The show was decent. I'd rather an over-dramatic piece over stale murder mystery theater, so I sat through the show without cringing. The drama ones are when we get to see Sara and Walt, and even JJ gets a nice sized role in this one.
Unlike even last year, not even a buildup to the season finale, which is a slight disappointment. But we sort of got a little buildup with the plastic factory show two episodes back and I'm still just getting over that one, so the break was nice before heading back full force into Greg Stillson and the land of WhattheheckAreyouguysTalkingabout. All in all, though, we got some good DZ fun.
