I disagree with the other review here. This episode was very well written and acted. Dr Tilson lived in a world of fear, lies, and regret. Many women of that time period gave up their dreams once they married and had children. It is a wonder she had the nerve to visit in person with the web of deceit she had woven. Perhaps the lack of prestigious career accounted for her frumpy traveling frock and hat made of drabby feedsack cloth. The mere mention of Colleen visiting the hospital surgeon in the job she had fabricated must have terrified the jealous witch. Dr Mike should have dumped her flat and realized that fake friends are NOT friends at all.

I have to place this ep at the bottom of the series. There is always a society-social plot that are as timely today as 20 years ago. In this one it was too much of a struggle to figure out what they were trying to communicate. Once finding out the particular theme for this ep it was a good one but also one that I couldn't get in touch with. Either the actress wasn't good, which I don't think was the case, or the story just wasn't well-written. I believe it's the latter.
