No honor among spies....especially towards the weaker ones.

When "The Sacrifice" begins, a top Soviet is defecting to the US. He informs the FBI that there is a spy within a defense plant, as he has copies of a top secret guidance device! So, it's up to Erskine and Rhodes to investigate. But when the pair start to get close, the spy master decides to toss them a bone....a sacrifice which might distract them to others in the spy network. So, they order the weakest link, Mel Olin (Ed Begley) to kill Erskine!! But he's a very, very weak man....is he up to it? And, if not, what's next?

So far in the series, "The FBI" hasn't centered too much on spies...even though this was filmed during a very cold period in the Cold War. Oveall, quite interesting and the show features not only Begley but Albert Paulsen, another excellent and character actor.
