There are three celebrity callers in this episode. Billy Bean is Jerry, who wants to know what's going on with Dr. Crane (Kelsey Grammer) (who's late) after Roz (Peri Gilpin) let it slip that they slept together. Leelee Sobieski is Sheila, who originally called to ask something else, but then questions Roz about this 'person she slept with' because it sounded like she still worked for him. And Charles Busch plays Mark, who says things are uncomfortable at work after he slept with his boss.
The company name visible on the tow truck operator's uniform reads "Grammer Towing," which is the last name of the actor who plays the show's titular character and who also directed this episode, Kelsey Grammer.
This is the fourth time someone other than Frasier hosts his radio show. His brother Niles hosts twice, in episodes Frasier Crane's Day Off (1994) and Head Game (1996), respectively. And Roz hosts twice. In this episode, Roz temporarily fills in while Frasier is stuck at the parking garage, marking the second time she hosted. Roz also briefly filled in for Frasier in High Crane Drifter (1996) (coincidentally) under similar circumstances.
Even though she has been living with Niles since the previous season, Daphne officially moves out of Frasier's apartment in this episode, as she mentions that she's "picking up the last of her things." Martin subsequently mentions that Frasier plans to turn Daphne's former room into a "reading sanctuary," but this is never seen.
The episode title is borrowed from the 2001 film "Enemy at the Gates," which was about the German army's siege of Stalingrad during World War Ii. [08/15/2022]
