When Will and Jazz catch Carlton and his friends harmonizing "Brick House," he accuses him of not being black enough. He bets Carlton that he can't spend two days in Compton. After snookering Uncle Phil into thinking they're on a field trip, Jazz takes him back to his place where he lives with a group of homies that are completely alien to Carlton. Trying to fit in, he makes a fool of himself but when Will and Jazz step out for chicken, the fellas school Carlton in how to act street. In return, he helps them iron the guys iron out problems with their various activities, like doing their taxes. Will is shocked when Carlton reveals that the guys are taking him to MacArthur Park at night - a dangerous neighborhood the is heavy on gang activity. Will has no alternative but to go back home and tell Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv what happened. Aunt Viv flips and decides to drive to Compton to bring Carlton back herself. Jazz's friends find out that Will ratted on Carlton and accuse him of being a sell-out, but they leave before anything physical can get underway. Back home, Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv school the boys in acting responsibly, but the real test comes when Carlton and Will are alone. Carlton wants Will to admit that he won his stupid bet, but Will won't admit that the reason he saved him from going to MacArthur Park is that he cares about him.
