This story includes the only material from this series used by the Gargoyles (1994) series creator, Greg Weisman, in his Slave Labor Graphics comic book continuation that he did not create himself. The material in question is a popular piece of dialogue in which Hudson's friend, a blind author, explains how he deduced his friend is a gargoyle.
Hudson doesn't see his value beyond a warrior. Not considering he could spend his later years being a consult and strategist for the more able bodied members of the clan.
According to Robbins, gargoyles smell like leather and concrete.
People for Inspecies Tolerance is the first sign the public is taking a more positive and open view of gargoyles.
Hudson is just screaming a battle cry against the Quarrymen. It's the signal to Robbins to prep the trap; while informing him friend how close he was getting. This allows the two blind veterans to outfox the thugs.
