I love this episode. It's one of my all-time favorite Season 4 episodes as well as it being one of my all-time favorite episodes from the entire series. It's definitely in the Top 10. I don't know if it's because of the fresh start, or what, but this episode is just really fantastic.
In this episode, the time has finally arrived for Rory to go off to Yale University and to start living her dream. She and Lorelai have all of her stuff packed up and are ready to go. Luke, being nice, allows them to borrow his truck for the haul, but is hesitant when he finds out that Lorelai can't drive a manual car. Eventually, the girls make it there, and they start unpacking Rory's things into her dorm. They find out that Paris is one of Rory's new roommates, which makes Rory very anxious. After swapping mattresses, since the Yale ones have been used over and over, Lorelai has to haul the old one away. When she gets back to Stars Hollow and Luke sees that the mattress is there, they get into a fight about who has to get rid of it. Also, Lorelai has to do a second trip because she thinks she needs to get Rory more things, like a fan, a mini fridge and a potted plant. Rory doesn't want her to go, so Lorelai stays the night.
Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.
