Okay. Just okay.

The usual stuff, nothing new when it comes to taking a closer look to the cast and crew of a film followed by HBO. This time, "Training Day" is the project's object and it's nice to have a moment with Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Antoine Fuqua and others talking about the movie along with behind the scenes clips.

Problem is that they prefer to talk more about the questions the movie raises, describing characters and their actions, instead of really talking about what attracted them to the film, the reactions they expect from audiences and things like that. Audiences are reserved to those questions and maybe answers, so when the people who made the movie keep on going in that line of interview, it just ruins the experience of seeing the film (gladly, I've seen it a long time ago, way before watching this doc).

The only memorable part is when the film veterans talk about their musician/non-actors co-stars Macy Gray, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg - who all stole the show in their brief moments and amazed the director and Washington/Hawke while shooting. They felt genuine while talking about them and when you watch the movie you get the sense of seeing good performances by talented people - all that time they were mesmerized by Macy Gray and all I could think was her memorable role in "Lackawanna Blues".

Nice bonus material but not near enough many of the countless behind the scenes docs I've seen over the years. 6/10
