This one was interesting. To me, it seemed to say more about what was going on with Stefanie Powers than what was going on with Jennifer Hart. I would bet that this one was filmed sometime shortly after William Holden died. He was Stefanie's partner for many years before he died, and a large part of his estate was used to create the William Holden Wildlife Foundation. And this is the second episode in a row that they made a reference to wildlife conservation. In this one, Jennifer is a spokesmodel for a line of fake furs, and once again, wildlife conservation is put on particular display. Holden died in 1981, and the timing of this episode and the one before it is probably more than coincidental. As for the story, interesting performance from the late Carrie Nye. At times, great; at most others, I just wanted to crawl under my desk in embarrassment for her. Stereotypical old Hollywood Diva -- only awful. Now, she was 45 at the time this one was filmed, and while she looked a lot older than that to me, on the other hand she looked amazing in an itty bitty bikini, so that's really sayin' somethin'. I enjoyed this episode, mainly because I am a big fan animal lover, and I loved what this episode was saying about conservation even back then; also because I really loved watching for tangible evidence in performances that speak to what is going on in the performer's real life.
