- Greggs, a land developer, has a zoning man, Huffman, in his pocket. As Huffman has started offering his services to other developers, 5-0 has built a case against him. Greggs, knowing that Huffman will turn on him to save himself, calls him telling him to meet him. Greggs sends one of his men, Koa, to kill Huffman. Koa was about to leave when a car drives off. A filmmaker had seen Huffman's car and taken the dead man's wallet but dropped one of his film cans. Koa finds it and gives it to Greggs, who has it developed and sees that it is footage of the area near the murder. He sends one of his men to find the filmmaker based on the info from the dropped film can. McGarrett, on learning of Huffman's death, investigates. He sends Danny Williams to pick him up but Koa resists. Koa is arrested for assaulting Danny. While trying to gather more evidence, the Five-0 learn that the late Huffman's credit cards are being used so they try to find the ones using them, the filmmaker and his buddy, before the two young men are killed.—rcs0411@yahoo.com (updated by R.M. - Rick McDivitt, an aspiring filmmaker, and his buddy Roger, a champion surfer, hope to have a hit film, showing Roger surfing the breathtaking waves on Oahu's North Beach and the Banzai Pipeline. When Rick runs out of film for the day, he goes back toward his car, and finds an unlocked car nearby with a recent murder victim (Huffman)'s jacket draped over the front seat. Rick reaches inside and lifts the wallet from the jacket, then drives to pick up Roger, evading a runaway car driven by a thug named Koa, who murdered Huffman, on the way. Rick and Roger plan to use the businessman's credit cards to finance the rest of the movie, unaware Huffman is dead. When Five-O cops go to interrogate Koa, he tries to attack them with a knife and using his kickboxing skills, thus leading to his arrest. However, the police cannot tie him to the murder. When Rick and Roger start purchasing camera equipment and film with the credit cards, McGarrett realizes that either man could be a murder witness even without knowing it. So do the real-estate developer and his henchmen who go after Rick and Roger themselves.—Peter Harris (updated by R.M. Sieger)
