It just goes to show you...don't become Danno's or Steve's girlfriend!

Warning: Spoilers
Having been a longtime fan of "Hawaii Five-O", I immediately knew that Anne Archer's character was going to die or be threatened with death shortly after the episode began. What was this "dead give away"? Well, she was Danno's steady girlfriend--a sure sign of impending doom on this show. This is a serious shortcoming of the series--whenever the two male leads had a lady friend, she was doomed! And, like all these others, this one apparently has been dating Danno a long time--yet we never saw her or heard about her in any other episode--before or afterwords. Despite this set-up AND some poor acting by Danno (James MacArthur) in scenes where he was supposed to show sadness, the rest of the show is pretty good--but familiar.

The show begins with Lloyd Bochner (a very familiar face to TV in the 60s and 70s) killing a young lady at his country club. But, what makes this murder very unusual is his writing a portion of a poem on the lady's corpse with lipstick. Was he just some psycho or was there some deeper and more sinister plan? Tune in and see.
