Not a bad episode..but certainly not one of the better ones.

This is not a bad show, but it's also far from memorable and is one you could skip. Though, as I am a nut who loves to see EVERY episode of shows I like, naturally I reviewed it! Some sort of Hawaiian separatist movement is involved in some shenannigans and a trial is about to occur. However, there are worries that the group will want to disrupt the proceedings and the Governor and Five-O are particularly worried about a bombing. Much of the show consists of FIVE-O drilling and working out security details. However, a real shocker occurs when Five-O plants a fake bomb (at the Governor's request) and in the process they find a real one...and then another! Overall, a decent episode but one that do a lot for me one way or the other. I think the reason for this is that the group concerned in the episode is really not well developed and it all seemed a bit vague.

Tense episode
VetteRanger4 January 2023
This episode reflects the times, with domestic terror groups threatening bombings over environmental and political causes. In this one, a group of six activists raped and killed a hippy girl as they determined hippies were beginning to ruin Hawaii with communes and drugs. They threatened to bomb a decades old courthouse building, and McGarrett can't get the six men about to go on trial to clue him in on who might cause more deaths.

5-0 has to dig deep to not only provide security, but try to outguess the terrorists. When bombs are finally found, it's up to Dano to defuse them before the timers expire and destroy the building. In the meantime, Steve is on the trail of the bomb maker.

An episode well worth watching, which is true for virtually all Hawaii 5-0 episodes.

Weak

I too, like to see all episodes. And I've seen every one, all twelve years.

This began OK, but I understood it to be a large group, like in other episodes. It was not well-developed.

2. The script twisted and became a different plot.

The ending also was weak.
