It is the start of the second series and there has been a few changes.
Dot Wilmington and her agency has been written out. She has also been outed as a lesbian.
Hazell does some freelancing for a private detective for the bigger fishes, Neville Fitch. However it seems Fitch's finances are in the doldrums.
Hazell follows volatile Michael McGeegan. A Cro Magnon with a fearsome right hook. His wife is a multi millionairess with several talent agencies. She thinks that Michael has a string of women he is having affairs with.
Hazell reckons that in order for a big fat bonus, Fitch might fit up Michael with a floozy and a freelance photographer will just happen to be nearby.
It looks like Hazell might be going more upmarket in the second series. After a physical altercation with Michael, Hazell thinks that Michael is the one who is hard done by.
There is a more contemporary soundtrack in the first episode. Songs by Gerry Rafferty and Kate Bush.
