Having been built as a star vehicle for Nick Berry initially, his departure from the show is sad to see, but it is handled on the whole well.
It is also testament to all involved that by this point the other characters had been built up enough so that there would be life in the show beyond PC Rowan.
The post office/face from Blaketon's past element seems a bit odd because it doesn't go anywhere, but this is very much a swansong episode for Nick and a passing of the guard to Jason Durr's 'Mike Bradley', and in that sense it does a good job.
