- Pamela Morris: The Hulk was sighted in Santa Clara and you don't want to take me along. I understand how you feel. I asked to apprentice at the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times, real newspapers. The National Register was not my first choice.
- Jack McGee: Well at least we have something in common.
- Dr. David Bruce Banner: Uhm, I'm ah, looking for Heidi?
- Woman at Desk: She's on her break, probably at the cafeteria. You another Doctor?
- Dr. David Bruce Banner: Another Doctor?
- Woman at Desk: She's dated half the medical center.
- Dr. David Bruce Banner: Oh, well I'm new here.
- Woman at Desk: Not for long!
- Jack McGee: So, while I'm out on the streets, you can stay here and man the phones. That way I can call stuff in. A base station.
- Pamela Morris: Base station? This is a newspaper article, not war correspondents. I came here to work, Jack.
- Jack McGee: Pamela, you're supposed to be here to help me, not play Brenda Starr.
- Jack McGee: Well?
- Harold Milburn: Ehm... my name is Harold Milburn. M.i.l.b.u.r...
- Jack McGee: I can spell Milburn, Harold, what do you want?
- Harold Milburn: I came to confess...
- Pamela Morris: To confess to what, Mr Milburn?
- Harold Milburn: I... am the Hulk.
- Jack McGee: I can't believe that you actually fell for the old torn shirt routine. Pamela, there are Hulk groupies in every city in this country, the only difference with this litte guy is a bit crazier than the rest.
- Harold Milburn: Well if you give me your name and address I'll be glad to send you an autograph. Oh, I've ordered some eight by ten pictures if you can wait a few days.
- Dr. David Bruce Banner: Oh no, no, no, no, look, I'm not a fan, my name is David Beeman and I'm with View Magazine and we'd like to do a story on you.
- Jack McGee: What the hell's going on?
- Newsman: Oh, you got a call too, huh?
- Jack McGee: Aha.
- Newsman: Who is this Milburn character?
- Jack McGee: Harold Milburn is a very little man with a very big problem.
- Harold Milburn: It said in the newspaper that there was going to be a follow-up story.
- Jack McGee: There is. You're not in it.
- [Jack McGee sees the wreckage in the computer lab]
- Alan O'Neil: I have your word, McGee. The article will call this vandalism.
- Jack McGee: Yeah well, sure, sure, sure. Of course, off the record you and I both know that it's the Hulk.
- Alan O'Neil: I don't know that... and neither will the board of directors, who happen to be deciding on a grant for the computer department.
- Jack McGee: Oh, I see. It's what's good PR for a bowling alley isn't necessarily good for a medical center.
- Jack McGee: Pamela, if you give this guy media exposure, you're setting him up for a hell of a disappointment.
- Pamela Morris: You just went straight from graduation into computers?
- Harold Milburn: Well, I wanted to be a cop.
- Pamela Morris: Oh, what happened?
- Harold Milburn: Well, they said I didn't pass the test. But I know what it is. They think I'm too short.
