The Incredibly Strange Film Show (1988) "Ray Dennis Steckler"
This British television show was hosted by Jonathan Ross and featured interviews with various "B" movie makers. When viewed today this series is all the more important because so many of the filmmakers are no longer with us.
This episode takes us to Las Vegas where we get a chat with filmmaker Ray Dennis Steckler who is best remembered for his crazy films including THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES WHO STOPPED LIVING AND BECAME MIXED UP ZOMBIES, THE THRILL KILLERS and RAT PINK A BOO BOO. If you're familiar with the work of Steckler then you'll understand his comment at the start of this where he states he wants to make sure his movies are unlike anyone else's. The interview with him is quite good and we also get to hear from fans like Johnny Legend as well as visit the set of his (at the time) current film. The adult movies that Steckler made aren't mentioned and in fact quite a few of them are overlooked but the interview itself is quite good and that makes this episode worth watching.
