Battery Sergeant-Major 'Shut Up' Williams ends up getting cursed when he throws out a holy man from the parade ground.
He damages the sadhu's bed of nails. Now Williams curse is that he will sleep in discomfort.
The rest of the platoon unhappy with the Sergeant-Major makes sure the curse comes true. They get Rangi Ram to put itching powder on his bed.
Now Williams thinks he really is cursed and the sadhu wants 200 rupees to lift the curse.
So they get Gloria dressed up as a holy man to reverse it. Especially as the sadhu turns out to be a fake.
It is a silly sitcom story but Windsor Davies plays it so well with the itching. I loved how he breathes in to show off his torso.
