The problem with the court-martial of Commander Lundt is that there was someone at fault in the death of Midshipman Emma Green. If Midshipman Diane Huskins hadn't left the hatch to below deck open, Green wouldn't have taken off her D-ring, crushed three of her fingers while closing the hatch, thereby making it impossible to get back to her post. Huskins should have been charged with Dereliction of Duty.
