There were 3 total segments, and probably 1 too many, but while 2 of them were passable, the other was a stinker. Follow me? I had a sinking feeling when I saw the annoying Charo make a guest appearance, and she didn't let me down, as her segment was the one that should've sunk to the bottom of whatever sea the Love Boat was floating on. She talks so fast you can't understand her, and while the chemistry she had with Forrest Tucker wasn't terrible, when she decided to marry him by episode's end, I didn't buy it for one second. Don Adams and Juliet Mills star as a couple who plans to divorce, but only after they write some script together for a show or something of the like; Adams basically played a similar role about 2 years prior as a divorced man who agrees to perform with his newly divorced wife. This segment and the earlier one from 2 years ago has just about the same ending, which you can easily guess. The saving grace is the performance of Ross Martin, who passed away a little over a year later, as he stars as a man who surprisingly finds the daughter he gave up for adoption with her adoptive mother on the cruise. Credit also goes to the performances of Marjorie Lord and Laurie Walters as the trio end up spending time together, although Tom Thorton(Martin)wrestles with telling Laura Rogers(Walters)the truth about being her real father. Martin really shines here, as he usually does everywhere else.
