I enjoy this whole tv series,I think it was mostly-great,overall. The writing was usually good or very-good,with many truly-great episodes too. Now,no tv-show is perfect,so of course there were a few take-it-or-leave-it episodes, and even a few dogs, bombs, and howlers that managed to sneak into the mix here and there.
Unfortunately, the writing can seem rather overdone on a few of the episode plots that have one of the characters 'standing on principle',or 'trying to do the right thing' against 'the system' or 'the powers that be' or whomever.
Whatever point it is that the writers are trying to make is usually a good one. The problem is,that in a-few of the episodes, the point or the lesson is pushed too-hard,without nuance, subtlety,or finesse.
Some of the best lessons,in real-life or on tv,are delivered gently, with a few blank-spots for the viewer or student to fill-in for themselves. Lessons learned in that way are usually memorable for a lifetime.
This episode was possibly a bit overdone, but overall it was very-good and pretty-funny to-boot. 85/100.
