Stan's investment in cow futures with Calvin (and losing much money in the process) foreshadow his future gambling problems.
Early in the episode in the OCB conference room, Agent Anderson makes a masturbation motion with his hand as he says "bull...semen". Clearly this got past the censors assuming it wasn't noticed to begin with.
There are no deaths in this episode.
During the bidding war between Agent Anderson and Rojas with Izzy and Calvin mediating, Anderson says he wants to see Izzy's "skin hanging from the walls of the Earl Butz Conference Room when it's over." Earl Butz was the US Secretary of Agriculture from 1971 to 1976 under presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. He is considered by experts to be the progenitor of major agribusiness corporations (such as Cargill and Monsanto), which in turn has given rise to America's modern controversial food system, sometimes referred to as "Big Ag". His frequent charge to smaller farmers during his time in office was "get big or get out" as he pushed them to plant commodity crops (mainly corn) on a massive scale, from "from fencerow to fencerow". He was featured in the documentary King Corn (2007), where he argued that corn subsidies dramatically reduced the cost of food for all Americans. However in reality prices continued to climb due to his artificially increasing the demand for food and thus began the dual phenomena of processed foods and fast foods on a large scale.
