- Crime boss Benjamin Dane wants to take over the Pantheon movie studio and put his inexperienced brother Theo in charge. The IMF, on a mission to get the mob's records, waylays Theo and puts similar-looking Jim in his place. Norman Shields, who is currently running the studio, is distressed to learn that his new boss is about to produce "Portrait of a Murder" an exact retelling of a crime he himself committed, written and directed by Barney playing an artsy director.
