A rather mixed bag in this final episode of Season 5

Warning: Spoilers
The best thing about this episode, hands down, is that the great George Sanders is the guest starring villain. He was 64 here, often looking tired and definitely a lot older than 64, but he still has flashes of that magnetic charm and superb acting ability that made him such a distinguished performer. He's the main reason to watch. Now, for the rest...SPOILER ALERT! The episode suffers from slow pacing. We don't get a real sense of urgency until the final few minutes. The fake raid on the fake radar installation verges on the unintentionally comic! At one point in the aftermath, Willy is lugging around a canister of fake nerve gas (which looks like that deadly satellite thing, three feet tall, from an old Star Trek episode). The whole raid thing just seems to easy, and it drags. This was the last episode for Leonard Nimoy and Lesley Anne Warren. Lesley looks great and is a plus. Nimoy, I must say, it seems like he just wasn't the best fit for the show. In this episode as in others, Paris doesn't seem to have much personality. Martin Landau was a much more subtle actor. It was nice that this episode was set in Europe, and we got those classic casino-type sets. Worth seeing for Sanders. Some other episodes from season 5 are much better.
