The sectarian hatreds which have torn Ireland over the centuries have been re-ignited in Bally-Na-Gragh, with each side accusing the other of this dreadful act of carnage. Brian McCarron, who purchased a Bally-Na-Gragh hotel six months ago, is secretly an arms dealer and has no compunction in selling to both sides. We believe that McCarron was responsible for the deaths of the old people, and that this was just one more foul deed by him to provoke violence and provide a greater market for his illegal arms.
