Bob Johnson: Voice on Disc

Quotes

  • Voice on Disc : Good morning, Jim. We believe that the disappearance of a man might have compromised the security of the entire world. Daniel Bergerac was the lead pilot for the first private manned venture into space. He was to command Frontier I, owned and operated by the EuroSpace Consortium, a multibillion dollar company. Officially, Bergerac is listed as missing, but we think he might have met with foul play. EuroSpace had leased a piece of Australian outback, built a private base, and they're planning to launch very shortly. The Frontier I is designed for using a super-laser in space, clearing cosmic debris, helping build a new space lab, test-drilling mineral bodies, constructing an orbiting chemical lab. It could be the future of mankind in space, but in the wrong hands, it could be the vehicle to a new dimension in terror. Your mission, Jim, should you choose to accept it, is to make sure that Frontier I is not being used in a terrorist plot to threaten targets on Earth from space. As always, should you or any member of your IM Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This disc will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Jim.
