This episode of "Mission: Impossible" isn't quite as good as usual...mostly because of all the silly mumbo-jumbo associated with the "ceremony of the golden lions"! It seems that in the rather backward nation of Bajan-Du, they follow a bizarro initiation ceremony to prove a man is worthy enough to be king. So, he must solve a riddle with some golden statues...and the IM: Force knows that the Prince's uncle is evil and is planning on sabotaging the ceremony. He is planning on rigging it...and making some silly ancient contraption kill the young man. So, the team has to find a way to even the playing field AND give the uncle a taste of his own medicine.
The problem with this episode is that a lot of money and time was spent on this weird ceremony and not enough on making it a top episode. Still worth seeing, particularly for the ending, but not one of the better ones.
