Just when it looks like some guy might be interested in Marilyn, it turns out he's more interested in the money. "The money" refers to the $180,000 in gold coins that Uncle Gilbert had just shipped to the Munster family and deposited in Mr. Benson's bank. Benson is an employee at the bank who takes care of the Munster fortune.

But before that is revealed, there are some funny moments as Lily and Grandpa do their best to hook up the couple and then, how they surprise the gold-digger when the latter tries to elope at midnight with Marilyn.

Earlier, we get a few more parlor jokes, ones I usually enjoy. The writers loved to use puns and other corny lines to describe Herman's day working with dead bodies at the funeral parlor. For instance, at the dinner table, explaining why he was late getting home, he says, "I had to stay late and lay out some of my work for tomorrow."
