The big event at FYI is the introduction of a new and expensive street level set with a reinforced window for gawkers to stare at the gang as they do their show. However all of this is overshadowed by the surreptitious arrival of the multigenerational descendent of a legendary six toed urban rat named Bob as relayed by a maintenance man portrayed by Cheers' John Ratzenberger. He is reluctant to take on the notorious vermin so Murphy Brown makes it her mission to deal with Bob particularly because he has chewed up critical paperwork in her office as well as her hidden stash of snack food. Her initial efforts fail and Bob makes a sudden appearance on the premiere broadcast of the new set which forces Murphy into action.
