- Grant Pritchard: I don't think I'm very good at being dead, Claire. It's all questions and no answers. For instance, if I am a ghost, why can't I walk through walls?
- Claire Pritchard: I don't know. I never could walk through walls, so I don't miss it.
- Grant Pritchard: Think about it, Claire, there must have been a billion people who've died on this planet, and we haven't seen one of them. I think they're avoiding me!
- Grant Pritchard: If I had my life to live over again, I'd do a lot of things differently.
- Claire Pritchard: Like what?
- Grant Pritchard: Well, for a start, I'd fix the brakes on that car.
- Grant Pritchard: I can't wait to chat with her again.
- Grandpa Jack Garrett: How? She can't hear you.
- Grant Pritchard: Good point, grandpa, old chum. But she can hear you.
- Grandpa Jack Garrett: Oh no, I'm not gonna tell anybody I talk to ghosts. They'll think I lost the filling in my Pop Tarts.
- Millie Pritchard: I thought I'd drop in and surprise Grant. I happen to be in town because of a young artist I've heard about.
- Liz Dooley: Do you collect paintings?
- Millie Pritchard: No, dear. Young artists. I'm something of a connessouir.
- Millie Pritchard: In my travels, I've managed to pick up a lot of friends.
- Claire Pritchard: And a truckload of other people, too.
