Charlie Eppes : Look at this. "If you ever decide to eat again, call me." The docent. You think you... you think you will?
Amita Ramanujan : Eat? Yeah. Call him? No. He is not my type.
Charlie Eppes : I'm sorry, does that ever work? Just coming out and being so... obvious?
Amita Ramanujan : Well, if it's the right guy, sure. It certainly beats the alternative.
Charlie Eppes : Hm. What do you mean?

Charlie Eppes : You really can't tell?

[She sees their friend sitting dejectedly at a fountain, and doesn't finish her thought]
Amita Ramanujan : Larry, are you all right?
[Charlie and Amita listen to Larry bemoan having broken the heart of a friend who became more than that recently, and then he sighs and leaves them sitting at the fountain together with a final thought]
Dr. Larry Fleinhardt : ...I don't know. Combining friendship and romance - exceedingly risky.
