- Brooke is now in rehab at the same clinic where Harrison is being treated for leukemia and they bond over their problems. Harrison's new friend is his hospital roommate Clarence, who's going through the final stages of cancer. He's the same age as Harrison, quite friendly and remains positive despite his terminal condition, so they bond easily. One night Harrison meets a female doctor who knows an awful lot about him, even things he never told anyone. He concludes that the woman must be God in disguise and asks her to save his friend. Meanwhile, Carmen joins a support group for teens with alcoholic parents and is shocked to see Nicole there. Nicole claims that her mom has been fired and that she's now poor, so she asks Carmen to loan her some money. Carmen feels sorry for her and gives her 60 bucks, which is all she has. Sam warns her that Nicole can't be trusted. Carmen's angry mom comes to school and makes a scene. Josh and Lily agree to participate in the school's staging of Equus, a famous controversial play about psychological issues, violence against horses and sexual repression. What they didn't know however is that the leads in the play are suppose to be completely nude on stage. Since they haven't even seen each other naked yet, they both start to feel inadequate and start worrying that they're naked bodies might look weird and unattractive to their loved one as well as the audience. Josh wants to make sure that he avoids penile shrinkage and Lily tries to make her breasts look bigger. Sam gets the part of the shrink in the play and she takes her job so seriously that she tries to psychoanalyze the couple and help them overcome their fear of their body image.
