The season clearly reached dangerous territory, with the whole Harrison got leukemia storyline, and the death of sweet Clarence. But you were still here for the gut wrenching moments and another great Christmas episode from the show. Since it return after Winter break, it seems like Popular was back to being double the fun and raunchy humor. Sometimes it worked, like in this episode. And sometimes it didn't, like the awkward « fire in the hole » and its overdone sex jokes. Despite that hilarious Candy Box character. The Shocking Possession of Harrison John, is a good mix of comedy and drama. And gave Nicole her first and only, real storyline. And showed her actress's acting chops. And even though I'm not a big fan of her « search for a mother » plot, I can see why writers decided to go there. The part where Harrison becomes a male Nicole Julian, and the whole exorcism thing, were hysterical. And perfected by that Heart song, « Barracuda ». The Josh/Sugar bromance subplot was ok, but they went a little too far on the offbeat humor, with this one. I also love the next episode. It seems like writers decided to throw those mean girls, real problematics. And I say, it's about time they did...
