Episode #2.12

My favorite part of this episode was Debbie trying to find out the identity of the young guy that was found in the garbage. It is a bit unbelievable that she would get his identity from the pharmacy guy.But I loved how at the end the police officer came to tell her about what he found. Since she seems to be the only one who cared about that guy, which itself is sad but at the same time makes it kind of sweet because at least after his death he finally had someone who cared for him

Interesting tensions between Ben and Michael and also Michael and Brian after Michael finds out that Ben and Brian did it in the past. I really liked all the conversations they had and how Michael was dealing with it

Not the best, but still entertaining

"I know your secret identity!" ~Brian

While I did think that episode 212 of Queer as Folk was sexy, entertaining, and revealing in some small ways, it really lacked overall what makes for an amazing episode. There was nothing really explosive going on here, and there weren't really any big Brian/Justin scenes. There was a lot of drama between Michael and Ben, and I have to say that I liked that a lot. The whole subplot with Ted and higher society, however, was kind of bland and I quickly lost interest in it. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Debbie pursue something that she was so passionate about. This episode's best scene was the well-written and well-acted scene between Brian and Michael in the comic book store. The rising sexual tensions between the two of them finally reach their peak, but once again are not acted upon. Both Hal Sparks and Gale Harold did an incredible job making that scene work so much better than it probably appeared on paper, right down to the look in their eyes and Michael's reluctance at first to kissing Brian. This once again wasn't my favorite episode or anything, but if this is the worst that the series has to offer, then I'm still relatively impressed. It has managed to remain a completely solid offering throughout season two, so it really doesn't come as a surprise that every single episode won't be downright show-stopping.
