The Monday Thru Friday Show (#1.12)

Warning: Spoilers
Dan and Roseanne remember that they never went on a honeymoon and try to find a place to go to. Darlene is trying to make easy money delivering news papers and Becky thinks of lowering her grade because of moral reasons.

For the most part I didn't like this episode. Poor Roseanne. I usually like Dan but in this episode he seemed like a jerk. He never let her have a honeymoon. What they really had seems like something he would like but not her. And now he doesn't want to go to a place with palm trees but insists on camping. Is he crazy? I feel bad for women who never get to travel because of simplistic jerks like this. And they tried to make it look as if the end was a solution for them both but it really isn't....Although it was nice of Jackie.

I did like though that Becky was willing to get a C but not dissect frogs. And her mother supported it! This is good parenting. Let the kid know that they should not sell themselves and their morality for grades or (in the future) money.

It was so interesting to see the deleted scene for the first time

Warning: Spoilers
I have watched the original 9 seasons numerous times in the 25+ years since it was first on.

I only just saw the extended version of this episode, including the scene that was deleted from the original airing. The scene features Darlene going to her newspaper boss' office and getting fired.

Haven't you ever watched an episode like this one, and wondered why there was an actor listed in the closing credits, even though no one but the core cast appeared in the episode?

That's because of episodes like this, where they list the boss in the credits, even though the scene was deleted from the original airing.
