In this episode there is a tornado and Connors with Jackie and Crystal are trying to be safe.

This episode I liked. They really had some special effects. Which was very impressive considering that it is a sitcom that aired in the late 80's. The wind was done very impressive and would already make me afraid.

They all dealt with the tornado according to their character. Darlene was the most illogical one, but it fit her well as she is only 11 to understand danger and likes this kind of things. I loved how Becky saved the pets.

I did think they will use it to make some disaster. Like I don't know, have the factory ruined by the tornado or have a smaller character killed off. They didn't go this way which I guess isn't so bad.

DJ's Name

On the Season One DVD of Roseanne,she appears before the episode called "Toto, We're Not In Kansas Anymore" and states that this episode is the first one where they reveal DJ's full name. This is false. It is no where in the episode. It is actually revealed in the Second season episode of Chicken Hearts where she gets fired by "Opie" as she puts it. There is also a blooper in the second season episode where Jackie has to take care of everyone when their Dad breaks his hip and is in the hospital. Becky gets milk on his pants and he goes to change them...they go from a light blue pair to a dark blue pair with paint specks on them back to the light blue pair. I just thought watchers would like these tidbits of information.

In the commentary of this episode Roseanne states its the "special effects show" and how she could never go on to do a movie. Infact she ended up doing a movie in December of that year called Shedevil.
