  Paul Bryan : Well, you called it: a bone breaker. In a game like this a man like Portaz won't only hang himself, he'll supply the rope.

  Phil Beaumont : I've seen it happen. You picked a mean game. Too rich for a bad gambler or a weak man. But are you sure Portaz is either one of those?

  Paul Bryan : I'm betting on it.

  Paul Bryan : Oh, a place where there's no time to remember the past or think about the future.

  Laura Beaumont : Where?
