Director Andy Ackerman had concerns over a stunt undertaken by Michael Richards (Kramer) where he was placed in a sack and dumped into the Hudson River. Once he was completely submerged he was to force himself out of the sack & swim back to the top. That part of the scene was filmed in a tank at Universal Studios & scuba divers were in the tank, off-camera, ready to give Richards oxygen in case things went wrong. On the first take, Richards didn't sink fast enough so 40 pounds of weights were added to the sack. On the second take Richards was able to escape quickly & swim to the surface. Michael Richards is a certified diver.

Kramer (Michael Richards) claims he's only slept an hour and 20 minutes in the last three days, however the pattern Kramer was copying (20 minutes every three hours) would mean he'd have slept an hour & 20 minutes after only 12 hours. In three days he would have slept six hours.
