- Carrie dates a hunky comic-bookstore owner Wade Adams (Cane Peterson). She went to a shop to get her old shoes repaired, but once she got there, she found that the shoe repair shop was closed and now hosts a comic bookstore instead. Wade sells his own comics at the store and part of the reason why his store is not doing very well either.
After a day at the video games store, Wade takes Carrie home, which has a fantastic view of the NYC skyline and has a breeze on the terrace. Carrie wonders if Wade is secretly a millionaire. Turns out he lives with his parents. Carrie likes it, as it's like having servants that you don't have to pay.
Carrie is embarrassed when Wade's mother starts calling her to find the whereabouts of her son. She smokes pot in Adams room. Carrie figures that Adam is no hurry to save up and to move out of his parent's house. Adam is caught smoking pot in his parents' house when they had explicitly banned it. Adam throws Carrie under the bus saying she bought it. Carrie is thrown out of the house & she takes the $400 an ounce pot with her. The girls smoke the pot back in Carrie's apartment.
Miranda gets braces. She dates a cute guy whom she meets at a diner. But due to the braces there are practical challenges now. Like how to handle blow jobs. Miranda has her braces removed when she figures that she more conscious of the braces than anyone else is.
Charlotte tries to find a cure for Trey's situation on the internet. She finds penile implants (costing $8000) that one can turn on or off, but Trey gets angry with Charlotte for mentioning this. They try sex counseling, but Trey is deeply uncomfortable discussing anything related to sex. The therapist had given them homework to discuss a sexual fantasy at home. Trey wants Charlotte to accept that he is not a sexual person.
Charlotte is shocked when she catches the supposedly impotent Trey masturbating. They discuss in therapy that Trey needs to find a way to integrate Charlotte into his sexual routine. Charlotte pastes her head onto all the photos in the magazines Trey uses for masturbation.
Samantha's latest client is Jenny Brier (Kat Dennings), a 13-year-old Jewish-American princess, planning her million-dollar Bat Mitzvah. She has fired her last 2 publicists. Samantha does like Jenny's aggressive attitude but takes the job as the party is over a million dollars and the who's-who of New York is invited. Turns out Jenny is a fan of Carrie and respects Samantha when she finds that Samantha is friends with Carrie. The party organized by Samantha is a smashing success and Jenny is the center of attention. Half of New York lines up to be inside the party and Jenny is happy. Samantha sees that Jenny has no childhood, since she has been giving blow jobs since she was 12 and is already discussing having sex being the only way for guys to like her. Samantha feels sad for Jenny.
