Lois Lane's first assignment as a reporter. She helps out Chloe for the school newspaper 'Torch'.
Lois says she was 6 when her mother passed away and that it has been 15 years in the second episode of season 4. That would make her 21 when she is redoing her senior year.
Eric Johnson makes a cameo appearance, as Whitney Fordman, for the freshman year flashback. This is Johnson's last appearance.
When this episode originally aired, Lois Lane's plastic surgery article was featured on the old WB website.
Lana goes to Dr. Fine to get her tattoo, the Mark of Transference she received from the tomb of Margaret Isobel Thoreaux during Crusade, removed. Dr. Fine tells her that the tattoo was not created by ink but rather looks like it was burned on Lana's skin, a possible allusion to the fate of Theoreaux.
