Originally musician Paul Westerberg was to be the guest, but during the interview, Westerberg didn't like the strange questions he was being asked and stormed out. The producers wanted to use the interview anyway, but because Westerberg wouldn't sign a release waiver they couldn't do so.
During the opening credits, George Lowe, the voice of Space Ghost, is shown and credited as Adrienne Barbeau.
The title sequence announces that it's a Martin Quin production. This is a parody of "A Quinn Martin Production". Quinn Martin was a prolific TV producer active in the sixties and seventies whose shows include The Fugitive (1963), The F.B.I. (1965), Cannon (1971), and The Streets of San Francisco (1972).
When A Space Ghost Christmas (1994) was rerun in 1996, this was one of the three episodes featured in it, replacing Batmantis (1994) from the 1994 airing. Space Ghost's lead-in line, "Y'know, that reminds me of the time Moltar was kidnapped." was changed to "Y'know, that reminds me of the time Moltar escaped." to reflect the replaced episode.
