- After a mind meld with a crew member convicted of murder, Tuvok experiences emotional problems himself. In the mess hall, after Neelix tries to cheer up Tuvok despite the latter wanting to be left alone, Tuvok eventually snaps and suffocates him. Some viewers may find Tuvok's unusual confrontation upsetting, at least until they learn that Neelix was part of a Holodeck program that Tuvok had deactivated shortly thereafter.
