- After being saved by a group of free female Jaffa, SG-1 is taken to the females' home world to meet their leader, Ishta. Ishta proposes an alliance between her all-female rebel group, Haktil, and the Tau'ri. The Tau'ri offer her Tretonin to supplant their practice of taking the symbiotes from defeated Jaffa in the service of the Goa'uld. However, since Tretonin has only had two test subjects, Teal'c and Bra'tac, they are cautious to spread it among their ranks.—trekkie4christ
- SG-1 is helped out in a firefight by a group of female Jaffa. After the battle, the women harvest the dead Jaffas' symbiotes. The team accompanies them to their home planet where they meet their leader Ishta. They learn that it is their custom to insert the symbiotes into their young to keep them healthy and make them strong. Sam suggests that they consider using Tretonin to stop their dependence on Goa'uld symbiotes. Ishta isn't keen on the idea until she learns that Teal'c uses the drug. Her decision to allow four of her followers to travel to Earth to try the drug divides the community and when one of the volunteers dies, SG-1 is put at risk.—garykmcd
- The SG-1 travels to a planet to meet a group of rebel Jaffa; out of the blue, they are attacked by an army of Jaffa and saved by a group of female Jaffa. They invite the SG-1 to travel to their planet to meet their leader, Ishta. She proposes an alliance between her rebel group and the Earthlings. Ishta explains that they have problems getting symbiotes since they need to defeat Jaffa, and the SG-1 offers Tretonin as an alternative method for them. Four women volunteer to travel to the SGC as subjects to experiment with Tretonin, but the outraged Neith does not accept the use of Tretonin jeopardizing the life of her teenage sister, Nesa.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

They systematically abduct female Jafa babies,, as mighty Goa'uld Moloch orders those sacrificed by fire, only desiring males to serve as his soldiers. Sam proposes Tretonin instead, which ishta accepts in principle after being defeated in duel by Teal'c, the only Jaffa besides Ra'tac to have tested the cure.
